2023 UPDATE:
Christmas Time Is Here.
We released this cover of the Vince Guaraldi song from the Charlie Brown movie in 2020 when Covid had us all super uncertain of our future. In the spirit of Christmas we had funds going to Salvation Army as they were the organisation who had help provide food and support for Nai when she was a young girl.
In 2023 we’re directing funds from this song towards the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund to help young people there who need support.

2020:
Christmas is for the babies.
I have always been kinda a grinch cos in ways, my childhood was swept away from me through orphanhood. Christmas has always been this far off joy, and to cope with the absence of common family love, I push the notion away. A cheesy commercial whatever the fuck. This year tho, myself and the boys decided to record one of our fav songs of the year (Christmas excluded).
The original track is a stunning morsel written by Vince Guaraldi and Lee Mendelson for Charlie Brown's Christmas special. Peanuts are the Christmas heroes we can get behind.

The proceeds from the record will be going to the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal. Not the most glamorous or the most righteous as far as environmental issues or indigenous rights, but it can offer simple joy to families and is easily accessible. There were many Christmases in my childhood where all presents/ food hampers were donated by this organization, so it feels right to start here.
Every year, we will choose a new organization to whom we will donate the royalties. I hope you are surrounded by love, nature, good food, and/or all of the above.
